About Source Mondial. Source Mondial Ltd is both exclusive agent and importer in New Zealand for many of the worlds leading brands and manufacturers of carpets and rugs.

It was founded in April 1999 by Shirley Wijma who recognized that the New Zealand design community did not have access to the wonderful variety of soft floor coverings available worldwide. Agencies previously never considered for the New Zealand market were shown to the design community with the philosophy of listening to the design brief then searching out the best product for the job which also created the "wow" factor at the best price direct from the manufacturer. With the ensuing eventual support of some of New Zealand's leading designers who specified product for their projects, the business grew from a few folders of European, American and Australian product to be arguably the New Zealand market leader in the supply of innovative floor coverings. Source Mondial Ltd now has offices and showrooms in Auckland (the Auckland Head office has a new 6,500 square foot showroom) Wellington and Christchurch. It also operates its own warehouse in Auckland with a satellite depot in Christchurch for South Island projects.

It takes a holistic approach to every project big or small by assisting the architect, designer or end client to select the most appropriate product for the project then managing it until the product installation is completed either by its customer's installers or its own appointed installation crew.
